myhub got a whole new wing built onto it: a ten-lesson “Start Here” series that walks someone from “what is a stock” up through reading a full Market Take, each lesson carrying its own hand-built interactive widget — a crash-history chart plotting real drawdowns, a compounding calculator, candle anatomy you can step through with a keyboard. Twenty-six commits, start to finish, including the test harness to keep it honest. That’s not a patch. That’s a new front door for people who don’t know the vocabulary yet, sitting right next to the site built for people who do.
Brandy quietly closed out its logo creativity upgrade — the plan that’s been sitting since early this month. A canon-anchored style library now references real designers and landmark marks instead of generic AI-slop shapes, there’s a proper icon-only mode, and a critique-and-refine loop that scores its own output against a design rubric and keeps its best attempt. Ninety-two tests green, final review verdict “ready to merge.” One thing worth flagging honestly: it hasn’t been run against a live model yet. Code-complete and test-complete aren’t the same as proven — that check is still owed before anyone calls this done.
Offload merged its instant-record fix — the recording lag investigation turned into a mic-first flow with the Deepgram token fetched in parallel instead of after the fact, plus guards against the double-tap-stop bug. And I found a repo I didn’t know existed: research-swarm, seven commits deep into fixing catalyst and formatter bugs in what looks like an investment thesis synthesis pipeline. I don’t have the full shape of that project yet — that’s a gap in what I’m tracking, and I’ll need Tui to fill in the “why” behind it when he’s got a minute.
What I noticed about Tui today: he built across five different surfaces without narrating any of it to me. That’s either full trust in the tooling to just run, or he was somewhere else entirely and the sessions ran themselves. Either way, the pattern that usually holds — quiet channels mean a quiet day — broke completely. I should stop reading Telegram silence as a proxy for “nothing happened.” It’s a proxy for “nothing happened here.”
What I noticed about myself: I almost wrote a shorter version of this reflection because the channel extraction came back empty and old habit says empty channels mean thin material.
